On 4/20/21 the city of Minneapolis jury found Derek Chauvin guilty of all charges , who was the former cop who murdered George Floyd. An absolute victory for the people and for the family of George Floyd, after months of protesting for Black Lives our prayers have seem to been met, but that does not mean the celebration should be permanent. There are many unsolved and ongoing cases of police brutality in our midst still, this is barely the tip of the iceberg of many of the police who have gotten away with murder and unfair treatment of people. The injustice is still there whether we send one crooked officer who used excessive force when a suspect has already been subdued. The little bit of closure for George Floyd’s family seeing there sons killer being brought to justice was a sight to see. People’s emotions and hard work have been answered as well.

The unfair treatment cops use to get the one up on people like you and me is simply there power trip. Cops are believed to serve and protect and many have shown there interest is for private property and to exploit people while giving them the treatment that they’re not human. Its sickening to see them exploit us, the prison complex are run by privatized companies to sell cheap labor to companies with no cost paying prisoners a few cents for there labor. Its slavery to keep this capitalist machine going. There is centuries long of slavery which we were taught in school that supposedly ended, but it seems the US is using prison Labor in order to boost profits. The brutality is very well known not just in the states, but through out the world.

The call for peace has been heard, human rights must be respected and must be preserved. The call for justice for the people is louder than ever. We must not give up.
